Caring for Your Wool Rug
- Vacuum regularly using a low-pile or no-beater-bar setting to avoid pulling at the fibres.
- Blot spills immediately rather than rubbing them in. Wool's natural lanolin coating gives you time to react before a spill sets.
- Rotate every 6-12 months so wear is even across the whole surface.
- Professionally clean every 12-18 months, sooner if the rug is in a high-traffic area.
- Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight where possible, as extended UV exposure can fade any rug over time, wool included.
